Circus artist

Saana Tolonen is a 28 year old circus artist specialised in aerial hoop. Since the age three she has enjoyed performing and being on stage. She graduated with a bachelor degree from the circus school of Turku University of Applied Sciences in 2017 and from Codarts, University of the Arts, in summer 2020. During the school years she worked in various projects with directors such as Francesco Sgró, Cécile Da Costa and Daniel Gulko.

Movement, dance and physicality are her strengths as well as strong presence  on stage. Her interest is to play with the aerial hoop and explore searching inspiring possibilities in the air as well as on the floor.
